Discussion in Berlin-Lichtenberg: “Is Berlin being left behind?”

On Sunday, the "Consider Listening" discussion series will take place again at the Fahrbereitschaft art center. This time, the discussion will focus on possible ways to support artists.
This Sunday, the next event in the "Consider Listening" series will take place on the grounds of the Haubrok Foundation's private art and culture center Fahrbereitschaft. Between 2 and 7 p.m., visitors can view the "Consider Listening" exhibition, which brings together contemporary art with a political focus, on the grounds in Berlin-Lichtenberg, in addition to the discussions. At 2:30 p.m., a short introduction to the exhibition with Dorothea von Hantelmann will take place. At 3 p.m., a discussion in English with Anna Voswinckel, Michael Schäfer, and K. Verlag will follow, entitled "Invasive Links." At 4 p.m., the discussion "Is Berlin Being Left Behind?" will take place, a panel discussion on Berlin's international reputation as a cultural capital with Jenny Schlenzka, Lutz Henke, Ari Benjamin Meyers, and Friedrich Petzel, moderated by Kolja Reichert. At 5 p.m., "Between Law and Freedom?" will follow, a discussion on artistic freedom between Monika Grütters and Peter Raue, moderated by Hilka Dirks. At 6:30 p.m., "Marshall Allen, 99, Astronaut" will be screened and discussed with Ari Benjamin Meyers and Matthias Osterwold. The evening concludes at 8 p.m. with the closing concert, "KNM: Exhibited Music (Repeat)." As always, admission to all events is free and open to the public.
